Grid Watch Interface

Control Layout
The Grid Watch is quite similar to the Grid Query in its interface. The Grid Watch displays one stock per row and each colum contains useful information about that stock.
The Grid Watch title bar displays the name of the Watch List if it has one, or "Grid Watch" if it doesn't.

The column names are a somewhat cryptic, so please find their meanings below:

- Price – the price of the stock
- CHG – the absolute price change in the last ‘n’ days (where ‘n’ is set in query parameters)
- BS – Buy (Accumulated) trades since the open
- SS – Sell (Distributed) trades since the open
- BA – Buy trade frequency acceleration
- SA – Sell trade frequency acceleration
- BT – Buy trade total in the last 60 seconds
- ST – Sell trade total in the last 60 seconds
- CHART – 30 minute chart on 5 second interval
- VWP – Volume Weighted Average Price
- VDL – Current price vs. Volume Weighted Average Price
- TREND – Price trend on 5 second interval
By default, many of these columns are initially hidden. See below for information on how to unhide or hide columns.
Much of the data is color coded, with green highlighting positive and red highlighting negative numbers.
User Interaction
Adding Symbols to the Grid
When the Grid Watch first starts up it will be empty
To add symbols to your Grid Watch you must drag and drop them, from the Market Scan, Fundamentals, Grid Query or other Grid Watch windows.
After you have added symbols to your grid, you may at some time wish to remove them. This can be accomplished by right-clicking on the "Symbol" column of the stock you wish to delete. Select "Remove [symbol]" from the popup menu to remove that symbol from your watch list.

Naming the Grid
Once you have added some stocks to your grid, you may wish to name it. Right-clicking on any column other than "Symbol" brings up the following dialog with which you may specify a name for your grid:

Managing Columns
You may select a column by which to sort the data by clicking on the appropriate column header. The column will be sorted in descending order by default, but clicking the column header will toggle it to ascending order.
By default, only a select few columns are shown initially. To select more columns for your Grid Query, right-click on a column header as shown below:

The first option is "Hide" which will hide the column you clicked to bring up the popup menu.
Following "Hide" is a list of all columns not currently displayed. Clicking on one of these menu items will add that column and its corresponding data to the grid.
