Fundamentals Interface

Control Layout
The Fundamentals grid is quite straightforward in its layout. Each row within the grid represents a different stock, and each column represents a different bit of information for that stock. It is likely that you will have more information in the grid than you can view at once, and the horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of the grid will allow you to scroll to information not displayed.

User Interaction
Adding Symbols to the Grid
Stocks may be added to the Fundamentals grid by the standard methods of dragging and dropping and also by typing stock symbols. When a row is highlighted, you may press either the "delete" or "backspace" keys to remove the stock from the grid.
Additionally, when you right click an area of the grid you will receive a popup menu to help you manage your current stock list.
If you right-click on a blank area of the grid, you will see the following:

and if you right-click on a row in the grid that contains a stock, you will see

The menu options are pretty self-explanatory.
- "Add New Symbol" will add a row to the grid and allow you to type the new symbol
- "Edit Symbol [symbol]" will allow you to edit/change the symbol for the selected row
- "Remove Symbol [symbol]" will remove the selected symbol from the grid
Customizing the Grid Columns
As mentioned before, there are over 40 columns available in the Fundamentals grid. By default, only about half of these are shown in the grid when it first starts up. If you right-click on the column headers you will be preseneted with the following menu:

The menu item at the top, "Hide", will hide the column that you right-clicked to receive this menu. All the other menu items are columns that are currently not being displayed on the grid. Clicking one of these items will add the column and corresponding information to the grid (the column won't be added at the end of the grid, but rather it will be added in its default position).
Lastly, you may modify the order of the columns within the grid. Just left-click on the column you want to move and drag it between the two colums where you'd like it.
